Langley

Dear Langley families,

This week the Langley children have been book mad for Book Week!
On Wednesday the children saw a special re-enactment of 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff' performed by some of the ELC teachers. The children absolutely loved watching the presentation; here is what some children had to say when asked what they saw at the show:

Angus - “A goat…. Grass”
Riani - “Three goats. What have they got on their heads?”
William. D - “Deer horns”
Kaeshav - “They dress up of the goat. I saw going up the bridge, over the bridge”
Lucy - “That pretty” (referring to Mrs Prest’s green hair)
William, A - “The goat and the bridge”
Lola - “The drum”
Nicholas - “A man and flowers”
Teddy - “The grass”

Thursday's reading flash mod was the first time many of our children have ventured up to the big school. It was quite an adventurous walk as we spotted the first signs of Spring - blossoms on the trees.

Finally our Book Week Parade was a huge success! A great effort was put into many fantastic costumes!

Have a great weekend
