Dear Langley Families and Friends,
This week we have welcomes some new class
pets into the Langley room, Spiny Leaf Insects. We spent time observing them,
discussing them and watching clips on youtube to learn more about them. They
have become very special, very quickly – we decided they needed names. Be sure
to stop and take alook at Alex, Effie and Tickles. The children were extremely
courageous, they allowed the Spiny Leaf Insects crawl up and down their arm!
We have also spent some time exploring more
in our outside environment as the weather has been a lot nicer this week! We
have been cooking in the sandpit, creating music out of different objects,
exploring our bear hunt area and kicking, catching and throwing the balls!
We can’t wait to explore, investigate and
play more next week!
