Angwin

Dear Families and Friends,

We have had so many exciting learning experiences this week in Angwin!

Our class has been holding our spiny leaf insects and watching as they move on their hands and arms. For some of the children this can be quite a risk taking experience!

We have been exploring numbers and counting with stones, number cards and even using a die.

The Chinese restaurant in the Workshop has been very popular with many customers coming to try out the delicious fried rice and the fried icecream.

Our Book Week has been lots of fun with storytelling, a play with the teachers retelling “The Three Billy Goats Gruff” and our special Book Week parade on Friday.
Poppy: I am a Spanish dancer from “The Story of Ferdinand”
Romesh: I am Wally from “Where’s Wally?”
Matilda: I am Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz”
Harry H: I am a shark!
Andreas: I am the tiger from “The Tiger who came to tea”
Wolf: I am a sailor from “The  Old Sailor” story.

We have been busy preparing and sharing about our Dads in readiness for the Big Boys Breakfast on Thursday next week 8:30 – 9:30am. Looking forward to this special occasion!

Have a wonderful weekend,

Pip and Wenting
