Chapple

Dear Chapple Families

What a busy Book Week we have had! It started off with us making our own books. Then we had two special visitors who came to read to us- Our Headmaster Mr Fenner and Mr Evans, our Director of Teaching and Learning. We stomped and romped to the Wild Thing rumpus. Then we watched the Town Square Players perform “The Three Billy Goats Gruff.” The Middle Goat was a particularly talented actor. In the afternoon we went to see the Book Week play. On Thursday we went to the library and took part in the Reading Flash mob. And we haven’t even got to the Parade yet!

Ned: We read a book at the playground.
Abi: We are going to dress up.
Lucy: We saw Billy Goats Gruff.
William: Mr Charlwood was the Middle Goat.
Benji: Ms Prest was the troll, an angry one.
Adi: Ms Rocca was the little goat.

We are currently collecting old newspapers if you have any available.

As we gear up to starting school, I am beginning to get parents ask me about what school children are going to, so they can arrange play dates etc. If you could let us know where they are heading that would be great. mcharlwood@staff.pac.edu.au

There is planned to be a separate dress up day for our Frozen, Star Wars and Avengers fans. -Movie Day 7th September.

Big Boys Breakfast is 1st September. You should have received invite and questionnaire.

Thanks

Martin Charlwood
