Wilkins

Dear Wilkins family and friends,

How beautiful is the gorgeous sunshine at the moment? Spring is most definitely in the air! If you have any blossoms at home we would love a branch or two for some art experiences next week please.
We have made the most of the sunshine, cooking up a storm in the sandpit and continuing our exploration of jumping and movement on our obstacle course. We have been practicing two foot jumping off planks of different heights - this is a good skill to practice at home whenever you can.

We have had keen threaders in the classroom this week also - using wooden beads and shoe strings we have been developing this fine motor skill as well as working together to thread and create patterns with the coloured beads.

We have been keenly observing and caring for our spiny leaf insect eggs and have excitedly welcomed three new babies to our classroom! We have discovered that they are really tiny and really quick! Come and take a peek in our tank when you are in next time. We have also explored colour at the easels, made music using different instruments, had our final Dancify lesson for the year, role played with the tricks and diggers and cooked up a storm in the sandpit.

We look forward to seeing you all next week.

Best wishes,

Ellen, Courtenay, Chelsea and Jess

SPORTS DAY is next Thursday the 28th September. We need to be up at the gym ready to go by 9am so please make sure you are here by 8.30am at the latest. The car park may be full so allow plenty of time to arrive and find a park. All parents are welcome to join us for the morning but please still meet us at the ELC.
