Mead

Dear Mead Room Families and Friends,

This week, we have had a lovely week exploring the signs of Spring! We have been looking at the Blossom Trees on our way to Library and PE, and watching how they have change over the weeks. We have even created our own Blossom Tree in the Mead Room.

Millie collected some beautiful flowers from her garden at home to bring in and show the Mead Class. We decided it would be a great idea to paint our own interpretation of the flowers, to go with our Blossom paintings.

Isla B: We need red.
Millie: And pink too!
Zara: What about some yellow for the middle?

We used our colour mixing skills to create different shades of pink to represent each of the flowers.

Bill: This is the little one.
Poppy: I’m painting a big flower.

On Thursday, we had our second session of Dancify for the term! We have enjoyed moving and grooving to different songs with Erin and learning new moves with the Cooper and Mattingley classes.

The Parent Performance will be on Thursday 21st of September! We can’t wait to show you what we have learnt!

Please ensure you bring in a hat for your child and apply sunscreen in the morning - we will re-apply sunscreen after rest time for the afternoon outside.

We look forward to having Mrs Prest back on Monday, we hope she is feeling much better!

Have a wonderful weekend,

Miss Georgia, Miss Jana and Miss Cynthia.
