Cooper

Hi Cooper families,

What a fun filled week we have had in our last week of term! We were very busy preparing and practicing our events for our sports day on Thursday. The children looked like they had a wonderful morning taking part in the event. Thank you to the families who came along to cheer and help the Cooper class, it really did make the morning very special for the children.

We have added new large construction blocks to our range of classroom experiences this week. This new activity has sparked much debate and conversation regarding turn taking and sharing. It has been a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn how to cooperate, work together as a team and share with their peers. Along with practicing our “games with rules”, the children have started to develop strategies to self-regulate their emotions when things don’t necessarily go their way.

I will be on school holidays until the 16th of October, during this time Miss C will be running the Spring program along with another educator. If you need to contact me in the next 2 weeks, please do so on mgilbert@pac.edu.au

We hope that you have a wonderful long weekend.

Love Miss Gilbert and Miss C
