Langley

Dear Langley Families,

We have had a lovely week. We especially have enjoyed the sunshine with extra play outside in the yard.

We have welcomed some new green tree frogs into our centre.  Many children have thoroughly loved sitting and viewing these animals.  Many children had some great questions about the frogs.

Rupert: “What does he eat?”

Miss G: “He eats crickets and meal worms”

(Miss G showed the food to Rupert)

Rupert: “Yuck!”

James: “Why is his neck moving?”

Miss G: “He is breathing”

James: “Why?”

Miss G: “We need to breathe to live, don’t we?”

James: “Yeah!”

Goodbye:

Well the week ahead will be a sad week as we say goodbye and good luck to Miss Amelia, who is off to have her second baby.  It has been wonderful for all the children to watch her baby grow during this pregnancy.  It is such a special gift.  We wish her all the best for the birth and look forward to meeting her baby girl soon.

Sports Day

Thursday 28th September at 9 am in the Prep School Gym.  Families whose children do not ordinarily attend on a Thursday can absolutely come to Sports Day - a parent/ caregiver must stay in attendance.

The Health Hustle begins in the Prep School Gym at 9am.  Please arrive in the classroom by 8.25am for sunscreen/ role call/ toileting etc as we will be leaving for the Prep School at 8.45am. Hats MUST be warn.

Parking may be an issue as the Prep School Sports Day is running concurrently so be mindful of this and allocate yourself extra time in the morning for drop offs.

Parent Teacher Interviews:

Are on Tuesday 26th September and Wednesday 27th September.  A quick reminder that if you would like to chat to either teachers, Kathy Kupke (kkupke@pac.edu.au ) or Amelia Murdy (amurdy@pac.edu.au)  please email them with the date and time you would like to book.

Holiday Bookings

Please check the window next to the door for holiday bookings.  Tick or cross the days you would like your child to attend.

Sun Protection

As Spring is here, we all need to wear hats and sun screen.  We will apply sunscreen to all children after nap time.  For those who have not yet done so please pack a PAC hat in your child’s bag every day.  This needs to be clearly labelled with their name.  We have a hat basket that they can stay in all week if you wish.

Have a great weekend everyone.

From Miss Georgia, Miss Tayla, Miss Nicole, Miss Kathy and Miss Amelia
