Langley

Dear Langley Families,

What a cold and wintery week we have had. Brrrrr….

Our focus this week was around celebrating our Dads in preparation for the Big Boys Breakfast. We started the week looking at the story by Anthony Browne, “My Dad”.
In response to the book we chatted about what our Dads are like and then we drew our Dads.
Frankie: My Dad!
Liam: My Dad is big
Rupert: My Dad swims
Amelia: My Dad eats
Scout: My Dad runs
James: My Dad is fast, see...

Thursday was our fantastic Big Boys Breakfast. All the children loved sharing this morning with their fathers. They had an array of things to do and show their dads, from eating morning tea together, reading stories or doing crafts. It was a pleasure seeing all of the children interacting with their Dads and having so much fun.

REMINDERS
This week we have also begun wearing hats during outside play. Please bring your child’s named school hat along with them on their next day at the ELC.

We hope that you all have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you all next week.

From Miss Kathy, Miss Amelia, Miss Nicole, Miss Tayla & Miss Georgia.
