Wilkins

Dear Wilkins Families and Friends,

What a wonderful first week back from our school holidays!

We have been very busy exploring with our new friends in the classroom.

This week we have enjoyed manipulating the play-dough in the home corner to create all kinds of meals and foods.

Blake - "I making dinosaur cakes!"

Ariana - "I make chocolate cake too!"

We have also been very busy at our craft station this week. Our friends have been gluing, cutting and sticking with different kinds of materials including patty pans, feathers and foil. We will continue to create some amazing pieces of art work!

We also took our stick insect out of his cage for a little wonder around the classroom and to also show our new friends. Some children were very interested and others a little nervous about him wondering around the classroom. We spoke about the different kinds of food a stick insect would eat. The Wilkins children loved this!

Thank you for another fun filled week in the Wilkins classroom.

Have a lovely weekend and see you all next week.

Miss Jess, Miss Ellen, Miss Courtenay, Miss Melissa and Miss Chelsea.
