Mattingley

Dear Mattingley families and friends,

The children have had a week of fun with their friends. Our highlights were drawing self-portraits, role playing the three little pigs, working in small groups to create different shaped tracks and seeing how fast the marbles roll down, sorting colours using coloured balls, construction, building with lego, outdoor play, home corner play and dressing up in costumes.

The children created images of their interest through dot painting using cotton buds. They used their fine motor skills to dip the cotton buds into coloured paints and hold them carefully to create their picture on black paper. The children were very creative and shared their artwork with each other.

On Wednesday, our Cooper friends joined us in the classroom and we watched a movie ‘Curious George’. We were so lucky to eat popcorn while watching the movie.

The children have really enjoyed their three week holiday program with their friends and we look forward to the start of term three next week.

Enjoy your weekend.
