Mead Room Families and Friends,
We have come to the end of the Winter School Holidays! We have had
a great 3 weeks, enjoying cooking experiences, box construction, clay
modelling, babycinos and exploring the College grounds.
Last week we created the “Mead Room Train” on box construction
day! On Monday, as apart of Travelling Around Australia, we decided to jump
into our train and off we went! Everyone had a great time, driving around
Australia in our very own train, instead of our imaginary cars!
Rupert - We went to a shop in the train
Teddy - Choo Choo, full steam ahead!
Jimmy - I’m tired from all that training now, it went Choo Choo
Iverson - I driving the train, toot toot
Charlotte - Choo Choo. We went to Darwin
Poppy - We went to Sydney too
Christian - I was walking in the train
Jack - We went to my house, toot toot
Charlie - Chooooo Choo
Elsie - We hopped in and went around
On Wednesday, we explored the College grounds. We had a great time
on the playground, running on the oval and playing games on the tennis courts!
We met Nick the groundsman on our travels and he showed us his rolling machines
and told us what he uses them for!
Next week, we welcome Mrs Prest back from school holidays! We look
forward to what's install for the term ahead.
