Edgerley

Dear Edgerley Families and Friends,

Welcome to the second week of the Winter Holiday Program!

On Monday, we took advantage of the glorious sunshine and joined the Chapple class to have a play at the rainbow playground. Edgerley slightly detoured to have a sneak peek in Reception B as some of the children will be starting big school in Term 3. Once we ventured out to the rainbow playground the children got to explore with the hand water pump supplying the children with endless water and lots of exercise. The children were filling up buckets and containers and transporting them to the sand pit, stepping in puddles, searching for treasure and exploring the natural outdoor environment. They loved it!

On Wednesday, we joined the Cooper class and went for a play on the tennis courts. The children got to run around freely, play ball games and group games, the children voted for Duck, Duck Goose and what’s the time Mr Wolf?

On Thursday, we joined the Angwin class and went for a walk around the school grounds. We visited the secret garden, had running races on the school oval and ended up having a play at the prep school playground.

We continued with show and tell, letter land, bug in a rug, box and block construction and relaxation.

Friday 21st is National Pyjama Day! Your child is invited to wear their comfy P.J’s.

Next week I will be on leave, Miss Gray and Miss Jana will be in the Edgerely class.

As my time with you all has come to an end I would like to take a moment to say a big thanks. It was a pleasure to have your little ones in my care over the past two years. I have enjoyed all the hugs, smiles and kind words your child has shared with me. I will miss you all.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend!
