Edgerley

Dear Parents,

It has been a busy week in the Edgerley Room with the arrival of the Cooper Room children to join the existing Edgerley children. Given we have merged two classes, the children are to be congratulated on the magnificent job they have done. They have embraced the move with great enthusiasm, gusto and positivity, so much so that it would be difficult to pick the newbies from the existing children!

This week we have enjoyed painting, construction, play dough, group games, songs, stories and puzzles. We have drawn our self portraits and investigated insects on the light table.

We celebrated Aston's 5th and Lotti's 4th birthdays with delicious cupcakes on Wednesday.

We also have brainstormed our 'Edgerley Essential Agreements' and decided what our class rules should be and will actively remind each other if we are forgetting to make an appropriate choice.

Here are some of our ideas:

No running inside - Ollie

No yelling inside - Stirling

No snatching - Isaac S

Don't break friends work - Aston

Be kind to our friends - Aaron

No lying - Nicholas V

There will be no stopping the Edgerley children now! We look forward to a rewarding and enjoyable term together.

Best wishes,

Emma, Mel and Chris
