Dear friends and families,

This week we have continued with our interest in cooking. We decorated our own teddy bear cookies. The children used a range of skills to complete this activity such as, identifying shapes, colours and consistency. The children chose their own decorations and placed them on their cookie. It was a great activity to promote language and the children shared with their educators what they were doing.

Painting has been a popular choice this week. We have not used the rollers yet this year so we placed them out with the paint trays. The children really enjoyed watching the paint roll onto the paper. We like to use a range of mediums to paint with.

This is our last week with some of our children as they move up to the Cooper room. While we will be sad to see them leave, we wish them all the best in their new class. We have enjoyed watching your children's development and will miss their beautiful personalities.
We look forward to meeting and getting to know all our new friends and families and the exciting times a head.

Enjoy your weekend and we look forward to seeing you all for the start of Term 3.

Love Miss Courtenay, Miss Ellen and Miss Melissa
