Langley

Dear Langley Families,

Welcome to Term 3!

We especially welcome our new families to our room.  We have several new families slowly starting with us this Term.  So, if you see someone looking a little lost or unsure lend them a helping hand, I am sure they will appreciate it.

This week we have been changing the room around a little with the introduction of the overhead projector.  Here the children can explore through a different lens how the world works.  Currently on the overhead projector we have some coloured letters for the children to play with.

We have also started to change the yard a little.  We have created, with the help of the children, an obstacle course.

Miss K: What do you want the course to be like everyone?

Rupert: A big one

Cara: A climbing one

Scout: Jumping, jumping

Liam: Yeah jumping, jumping

Owen: Up and down

Ethan: A long one

As the week rolls on we are doing small things in preparation for our Book Week event. Please watch this space for information as the even gets closer.  We have started our love for books with the classic story by Michael Rosen, ‘We Are Going On a Bear Hunt’.  The children have all enjoyed listening and acting out the story.  Watch out !! You just might see a bear or two in the room!!

Have a lovely weekend everyone. Stay warm and dry.

Miss Kathy, Miss Amelia, Miss Nicole, Miss Tayla and Miss Georgia
