Mead

Dear Mead Room families and friends,

It was so wonderful to see the children greet each other with warmth and excitement after the school holidays, as some of our Mead Room friends had been away for two weeks!

Our enthusiastic welcomes also extend to our new friend Lucius who commences in the Mead Room next week, thank you to all our Mead Room friends for making Lucius, Charlotte and Owen so welcome!

Our first week of Term 2 has greeted us with chilly mornings and cool afternoons.  We went for a walk through the Preparatory School and noticed there are trees that have leaves beginning to change colour.  Red & Orange, Brown and Yellow:

Poppy  - It’s Autumn!
Harry – That leaf is falling.
Ming Ming – Fall on ground.

We wondered if all the leaves would be gone the next time we walked to the Preparatory  School:
Anwen – Maybe…. maybe they’ll fly off!

Happy Birthday to Quinn and Cody who celebrated turning 4 this week!

It has been a week of ‘creating’, the children have been utilising resources to imagine, design and construct – please have a look at the images of our creations, and glimpses of our week, below.

Take care of each other,

Melissa and Georgia
