Edgerley

Dear Edgerley parents,

We have enjoyed a whirlwind of a week exploring symbols in the college, continuing our shared artwork with our year four buddies, and welcoming our Mum’s to the Princesses Tea Party.

The children were thrilled to share their kindy environment with their Mums, making tiaras and enjoying stories. Speaking to them afterwards the children particularly enjoyed the opportunity to pamper their Mum’s by painting their fingernails.

We also furthered our understandings about rainbows by experimenting with the hose in the sunlight in the garden. Come and have a look at our rainbow artwork in the classroom and read our ideas about how rainbows happen.

Next week we will continue to explore the importance of symbols and ask that families photograph a symbol or two that you may spot whilst out and about and e-mail to Mrs McKenzie or Mrs Bishop for show and tell. A new show and tell roster is in lockers this week.

We wish all of our Mums a wonderful day on Sunday and look forward to seeing you all again next week.
