Dear Families,

This week we have been busy exploring more about our families, making the lovely family posters that are displayed up on one of our boards.

The children have helped to create a pirate ship in our dramatic play corner and we are in the process of creating telescopes and binoculars for the pirates to find land ahoy! Treasure maps are in abundance and there are lots of “x”marks the spot for the treasure!

A group of the children are working on creating different fairy gardens and we are in process of creating one out in the garden.

We have started caring for our two tiny frogs, feeding them crickets each day. The children have been creating their own froggy homes, using lots of natural loose parts.

We have loved our show and tell week of sharing our treasure boxes. It gives the children such a sense of belonging and helps us link with their experiences outside ELC.

Thank you for ongoing support!

Kind Regards,

Pip and Coney
