Langley

Dear Langley Families,

What a wonderful week we have had in the Langley room. We started the week with a visit from our Chinese teacher, ‘Nǐ hǎo everyone’. We are learning to sing ‘Twinkle twinkle little star’ in Chinese. What a great challenge for us.

Tuesday we had a visit from our Dancify team. We all got to move and groove to music. It is a wonderful way to start our day. Many of the children were thoroughly engaged especially when The Wiggles music came on. Great fitness for the teachers too.

The remainder of the week saw a great deal of play happening both inside and out. We began creating our 'Self Portraits" outside using paints. It has been a pleasure watching the children paint their perception of themselves. We are looking forward to sharing these with you all in the coming weeks.

REMINDERS

Just as a reminder to all Langley families to bring in a current family photo. We are starting to inquire into our PYP unit ‘Who we are’ and to assist in this we want to display these photos around the room and be able to let the children talk to them. Thank you to those families who have already handed or emailed theirs to us.

Please remember  to label ALL items of clothing that come to our classroom, this makes the day run smoother if things are all labelled.

Have a lovely weekend,

From the Langley Team
