Dear Mead Room families and friends,
This week we have observed new growth
and destruction. Whilst they are not
normally two things that go together, we have been fortunate enough to have
these opposites in our ELC environment. We continued to witness ‘the clues of
Spring’; blossom changing into leaves,
our chicks spending the whole day outside in the chook run, and some of the
days becoming just a little warmer.
On
the other hand we have observed monumental destruction over the road! We have watched with interest the demolition
of the buildings behind the ELC, and from a couple of vantage points, including
our room, we have kept up-to-date with the process. Vivienne thought one of the machines looked
like it had a claw and Iverson exclaimed that it looked like a dinosaur! We will see where this journey takes us!
Our Big Boys Breakfast was a fantastic
celebration of all things fatherly! The
children and their big boys hammered, built, glued, read, explored, talked, ate
and shared a wonderfully relaxing morning together. Hope you all have a wonderful time on Sunday
3rd as well!!
Take care of each other,
Melissa and Georgia
