Hi Cooper families,
What a busy week we have had in the Cooper room this week! On Monday in our Chinese session with Wenting we made delicious moon biscuits as a class. The children mixed, rolled, cut and baked the cookies, which we shared for our afternoon tea.

In preparation for Sports day next week, we have been testing our speed in our practice running races and learning how to play circle games, such as ‘Duck, Duck, Goose’. Through these circle games children are developing their ability to take turns, follow instructions and follow the rules of the games. Sports Day will be held next Thursday on the 28th of September. We will all be meeting in the Cooper room and then heading up as a group to the Prep School Gym for the health hustle. Please make sure that you are in the Cooper room by 8:30am so that we can travel as a group to the event.
What a groovy time we had on Thursday at our dancify performance. We jumped, jigged, and jived our way through the three dances that we have been practicing over the last month. It was wonderful to see the children’s confidence and enthusiasm in dancing demonstrated on Thursday at our performance.
We hope that you have a wonderful weekend.
