Dear Families and Friends,
The Angwin classroom has been spending lots of time in deep co-operative
play, with building being a major focus. There has been lots of negotiating,
sharing and discussing of plans as the play has continued.
The doctor’s surgery has been so busy with many different diagnosis to
keep the doctors and nurses frantic!
Audrey: I’m a real
nurse!
Lilah: Can you please
sign the form?
Alina: It’s going
Boom! Boom! Boom! I think there’s worms in there! There are 100 million worms
in that patient!
Alice: The baby’s
coming now…
Lilah: You’ve had a
vomit and ooooh, there’s a bird in our tummy and oooohhhh it’s still alive!
Speaking of birds, on one of our walks up to the Preparatory School we have
been so lucky to find a baby rainbow bird poking its’ head out from its’ nest!
The children were so excited! We have discussing signs of Spring and the
children have been bringing in blossoms, daffodils and other signs that tell us
that the warmer weather is on its’ way!
Paxton: This flower is
from my garden. It grows under the trees
Thomas: After Winter it
is spring and it gets sunny
Sammy: Spring is a
very confusing season because it goes hot to cold to hot to cold
Jed: It’s a pink
blossom… my Mummy found it for me! As the blossoms grow from a bud they get
bigger
Edward: Summer comes
after spring
Sammy: Bees come and
lick the nectar from the blossom
James: The rain turns
into Spring and makes the flowers bigger
Lots of amazing theories and ideas to share!
Have a lovely weekend!
Kind Regards,
Pip, Ellen and Kendall
