Mead

Dear Mead room families and friends,

We have had a great first week of the holidays and have been enjoying arts and crafts!

We have made great use of the collage table and have been practicing cutting, tearing and sticking to make some fabulous pictures! We also have really enjoyed the play dough and have made some very interesting pieces, using natural items to decorate them.

Some of us have enjoyed the pretend-play picnic area, taking turns to serve food and pretending to eat it. We will be going on a real picnic for lunch next week at the big school too!

Due to the beautiful weather we have also been doing plenty of outside play and enjoying sand and water play. We got creative and used the sand to create more artwork, creating patterns with glue on the paper and sprinkling the sand over the top.

It has been great having Miss Beth in the Mead room as she brings her love of music! We have loved doing singing and dancing and music games!

We look forward to next week in the Mead room as we continue to enjoy the school holidays!
