Langley

Dear Langley family and friends,

We’ve had a busy first week of the holidays, on Wednesday we had wheels day. The children had so much fun riding their bikes around the ELC carpark showing off their skills. The children that didn’t bring their bikes went for a run on the school oval and played with some bubbles, we then joined in with the 3 year old classes and did some yoga.

On Thursday we had a visit from Animals Anonymous! Tamara brought in some of her Australian animals for us to touch and hold. Some of the animals we saw were: A Stimson Python, Betong, Velvet Gecko, Crocodile, Queensland Coastal Carpet Python, Parrot, Gliding Possum and a Goanna!

Tamara talked about what the animals like to eat and how to safely handle them.

The children had a lot to say!

Ethan-  Is he going to snap?
Liam - A green parrot
Ethan - He’s slithering, he’s going to slither outside!
Zain - Zainy did touch it. The possum
Liam - The possum did jump
Maiya - A snake. Black
Bowie - Snake sssss
Sienna - A crocodile
