Chapple

Dear Chapple families and friends,

It has been lovely to see everyone return to the ELC after a well-deserved long weekend yet an unfortunate loss by the Crows.

We started off the week enjoying the beautiful sunshine. Splashing and soaking ourselves in water from the outside rock fountain to keep us cool.

We explored the school grounds and ventured up to the Rainbow playground thoroughly enjoying another outside learning environment.

On Tuesday, we furthered our investigation of Volcanos and created our very own eruption in the sandpit. The children very carefully placed a plastic bottle in the centre of the volcano surrounding the outside with sand. Bi-carb soda was inside the plastic bottle; orange food dye and water were added to the bi-carb soda; we watched in amazement as our volcano erupted. Bubbling right before our eyes.

On Thursday, we were a creative bunch, painting and decorating rocks! This was lots of fun and a big hit!!!! These can be seen displayed within the room.

On Friday, our imagination continued as we created slime with our slime master Mrs Kaur.

We hope you have a lovely weekend.

Miss Elodie and Mrs Kaur
