Edgerley

Hello Edgerley Families and Friends.

We have just wrapped up our school holiday program for Spring, and the children have had an absolute blast. It’s been great to see the children constructing and creating on the woodwork bench, laughing helplessly while playing musical chairs, and proudly displaying some ridiculous hairstyles at our Crazy Hair Day.

Here are a few snapshots of some of the learning that has taken place this week…

§  ‘He was flying in America with his rocket,’ said Isaac C, as he narrated his hand-made Captain Underpants picture book.

§  ‘And we can’t touch the lava because the lava is hot, and it will burn us,’ said Brian, as the bubbling foam poured from the top of our volcano.

§  ‘I have put a big ‘H’ here for the helicopter to land on,’ said Aaron, as he assisted in the creation of our masking-tape township.

We hope that everyone has had the chance to experience some rest and rejuvenation throughout the school holiday period. We look forward to kicking off Term Four next week, as we welcome Mrs McKenzie and Mrs Bishop back into our classroom.

Thanks again,

Mr Richards and Mrs Sharon
