Langley

Dear Langley parents and friends.

Another busy week and the first in Langley for our new student Isabel who has enjoyed exploring the indoor and outdoor play areas and socialising with her peers and educators.

Recently you would have received information regarding our Nativity which will be held on Thursday 30th of November. We would appreciate it if you could return your attendance slip as soon as possible so we can plan for further this event. We will soon begin rehearsing songs for this event and will let you know the songs so you can practice along with your children.

This week we continue to use various materials to create our collaged self portraits. The children have enjoyed exploring the tools and participating in this very tactile task.

We are lucky to have some special visitors in class this week as Miss Jess brought some silk worms into each classroom for the children to see. They are generating lots of questions from the children. We’ll continue to observe their behaviour and the children will collect leaves with Miss Georgia to feed them.

Please be aware that now the weather is warmer we will be refilling the children’s drink bottles throughout the day so they may be quite full when they are picked up.

Have a lovely weekend.

Nicole, Olly, Georgia and Tayla
