Langley

On Tuesday we welcomed some very special people in our lives to the ELC, our Grandies! The morning was a huge success and children loved showing their Grandies around the classroom, reading stories, making pies with the play dough, building with Lego and playing outside. A very special morning indeed!

This week children have been very engaged with group building projects. They have spent long periods of time together with the police duplo creating grand buildings and stations. The area has seen great cooperation, sharing of ideas, and determination when their structures come crashing down.

We've taken a close look at and investigated a lava lamp this week. The children are mesmerised by it and love sharing their thoughts about it.
Charliese - "Glitter, up!"
Phoenix - "Stars! It says no touching"
Phoebe - "Parkles" (sparkles)
Riani - "Its wiggling! It looks like fairies"

We have an update regarding our tadpoles - during the week something amazing happened - we now have a little frog!
Larissa - "He's got legs now!"
Rocco - "Frog in there"

Have a great weekend
