Cooper

Dear Cooper Families

We have had a wonderful and busy week in the Cooper room this week. We have been eagerly preparing and learning new songs for our special concert for Grandies day next week. We have been practicing as a group in the Town Square with the big 4 year olds, which has been very exciting. Every day we are becoming more and more confident in singing our songs.

This week there were new experiences added to the outdoor area in the Town Square. There were dress ups, musical instruments and a CD played set out on the stage. As we have been experimenting and exploring instruments in the classroom throughout the year, the Cooper children confidently engaged in dancing and playing the musical instruments in tune to the music. It was wonderful to see their delight and enthusiasm in this experience as they clapped, stamped and sang along with their classmates.

Marble run has been very popular in the classroom this week! The children have been working beautifully together to build long and tall tunnels for the marbles to slide down. The children used a range of skills through this experience such as problem solving, persistence and team work to build their marble run.

We hope that you have a lovely weekend.

Love Miss Gilbert and Miss C
