Langley

And just like that, its the end of term 1! Time sure does fly when you're having lots of fun.

This week we had a very special visit from 4 fire-fighters and a MFS fire truck. The fire-fighters spoke to the children about different types of fire, their protective clothes and how they put fires out. We then got to have a close look at the truck and even had a turn squirting the hose!
Later that afternoon, the children looked at photos from the morning and reflected on their special visit.

What did we see?
Seb Fire truck, fire engine
Riani - Look, fire truck
Ed - Ugh guck (fire truck)
Claudia - A fire fruck (truck)
Hudson - Truck hose water
Sofia - Ne duck (fire truck)

How do fire-fighters put out a fire?
Declan - With their hose
Lachlan - Hose
Leo - Thats me!
Seb - Water!
Declan - Water.it puts it out

Also this week we have continued to investigate and observe lava lamps, adding 2 different styles. We have introduced and added a light table to the area for children to explore light through various translucent objects - the children are in awe!!

Have a fantastic weekend!
