Angwin

Dear Parents and Friends,

We have had a busy week in Angwin! We now have many accomplished bakers who are loving our bakery play! We have shared the story “Walter the Baker” by Eric Carle and that has given us many ideas for making different delicious things to share.

On Friday afternoon we welcomed Tatiana, Liam’s mum come in to make special kites with us. We had to carefully follow several steps to create a tissue paper kite with Tatiana’s special help. We then went across to the tennis courts to have a try. It was quite windy and whilst the tails flew beautifully… most of the kits will need some TLC back in our classroom. Definitely a wonderful process for the children to enjoy! Thank you Tatiana!

The children have been working hard to prepare for Grandies Day on Tuesday. We have shared photos for show and tell and then created beautiful portraits of our Grandies.
We look forward to welcoming our Grandies at 11:15am for the concert at 11:30am. Then there will be time to visit our classrooms and have photos and visit the bookstall, before the Grandies share a most welcome morning tea!

Have a lovely weekend!
Kind Regards,

Pip and Coral
