Edgerley

Dear Edgerley Families,

We had a great start to week 1 of the holidays starting off with some science experiments. We changed milk into different colours, made volcanoes in the sandpit and made a bit of a fizz with Mentos in the coke bottle.

As always there is a visit to the Rainbow Playground.  The children always like playing at this popular destination.

There were some great dance moves at the Disco on Wednesday where the room had disco lights set up over the dance floor. Stickers were awarded for some of the best ‘movers and shakers’ on the dance floor.

On Thursday we joined in for some sports fun on the Back oval with Chapple and Angwin. Stewart and some of his helpers took the fitness session. There was a tug of war, some relay races and an all in soccer match.

Felix’s grandparents visited the class on Friday talk to us about ANZAC Day as well as to show us his Grandfather’s medals. Thankyou to Morris and Suzanne for your time to talk to us.

We celebrated Friday with a sausage sizzle. This is a popular event with to end the week on with the children loving the smell of the BBQ cooking while they play and wondering when it will be ready.

Remember, Loud Shirt Day which is on 26th of April for the children attending on Tuesday back.

I hope you all have a nice ANZAC Day weekend and come back refreshed next week.

Mr Ty and Mrs Murdy
