Mead

Hello Mead families and friends,
The children have been enjoying exploring and discovering their indoor and outdoor environments. They have displayed great interest in joining and building with the coloured magnetic shapes as this furthers their fine motor skills.

This week we have continued to build on our relationships with peers and educators. They are displaying increased independence and self-help skills as they put on and take off their shoes, wash their own hands and use tongs to serve their food.
During group times, we have been discussing our feelings and why we feel a mixture of emotions. Some children have expressed what makes them happy!

On Monday, we went to the Prep School Library for our first Library lesson, we each chose a book to borrow! This was very exciting.

On Tuesday and Thursday we had Chinese lesson, we sang ‘Twinkle little star’ in Chinese and we also learnt how to say and memorize an array of colours.
Friday we had our P.E class in the prep school gym, this was a great way to further our movement and co-ordination skills as well as our gross motor skills.

We are very excited as we are now able to enjoy our beautiful new green grass outside.

We hope you have a lovely weekend!
