Mattingley

Dear Mattingley families and friends,
What an action packed first week we have had in the Mattingley classroom. We have been very busy exploring our new environment, getting to know each other and having lots and lots of fun. There have been lots of books shared, animals made out of play dough, lots and lots of painting, drawings and amazing towers built out of blocks. The children have been very busy this week.
We have had our first two Chinese lessons with Wenting, learning about the Chinese Spring Festival, and are looking forward to celebrating Chinese New Year next Monday.
This week we have also had our first trip to the Prep School Gym where we had our first PE lesson with Mr Barton. There was lots of laughter as the children ran races across the gym and practiced their ball skills. We are looking forward to our first Library lesson next week in the Prep School Library.
"Watch me. I throw it!' - Joshua D
"I run fast and fast!"- Oscar
"Watch! I throw the ball!" - Eloise
Could we please remind our parents to apply sun cream to your child before coming into the centre so we can go straight outside when it is our turn to play in the yard. Thank you.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend.
