Angwin

Dear Families,

We have had a wonderful start in the Angwin Room, welcoming back all of our friends and meeting new friends too. The children have spent time learning our new routines and getting to know each other.

The children have loved sharing their treasure boxes and we are looking forward to a special new shelf to keep them on this year. A big thank you to families for such amazing treasure inside! Please feel free to add to these as the year continues. It is a wonderful link from home to school.

We have had investigations emerging already… some great block play trying to make the tallest buildings, some creative creatures coming from the playdough table and detailed self portraits that have been turned into works of art.

We have started our own drawing journals as a way for the children to reflect and symbolically share their thoughts and experiences. This has been such an enjoyable task each day during our relaxation time after lunch.

As the week has continued we have been busy taking new photos of all the children for fresh locker tags and our wall calendar. The children have enjoyed trips to the Library, PE and have met our new Chinese teacher, Wenting.

Looking forward to an amazing year!

Kind Regards,

Pip and Coral
