Wilkins

Dear Wilkins families

We have continued to explore the story of the Nativity this week through practicing our songs and our performance with the rest of the ELC and role playing the story in the classroom. We are looking forward to sharing this morning with you next Friday – please see the note in your locker regarding some special notes for the day.

We have also been writing and creating patterns in the coloured salt tray at the light table, role playing birthday celebrations in the home corner, exploring measurement and cause and effect at the rice tray, using mathematical language in our clothing and shoe shop, exploring our senses with the diggers, cars and roads in the block corner and continued exploration of fairy tales with a focus on Goldilocks and the Three Bears this week.

Best wishes for the weekend, we look forward to seeing you all next week.
Karla, Amy and Jess

We are gathering glass jars for a special Christmas experience and would appreciate any donations of clean, label free jars – thanks!
