Cooper

Hello Cooper Friends and Families

This week with the help of the children we changed some of the furniture around in the Cooper room. We created a new building corner for the children create structures with one another, promoting all the benefits of team work that we’ve been working on this term. A big thank you to the Tuesday children for moving all of the wooden blocks!

We have also been exploring the exciting events that take place over the Christmas period. We have been talking about the Nativity play and practicing all the songs in it as well as reading the story of the first Christmas. The class then talked with each other about what had taken place in the story.

They used the bright star to find the stable Tallulah

Baby Jesus sleeps in a manger David

We have also been getting creative and drawing our Self Portraits for this term. While drawing the children have been talking with us about the different facial features they are choosing to draw.

That’s me. That’s me playing the tambourine Regan

It’s me. It’s a smiley face Lucas

These are my hairs, they go on top Anay

The Self Portraits will start to go on display from next week.

Have a great weekend
