Mead

Dear Mead Room families,
‘Tis the season to be……… TURNING 4!!

This week we celebrated the momentous birthdays of Doane, Harrison T and Finny.

Happy 4th Birthday!  These happy celebrations are so exciting – we have been discussing birthdays as a part of our unit of inquiry – the Mead Room children contributed much information to clarify what birthdays are really all about –

Ned – You have a party and it has chocolate frogs

Angus – Chocolate marbles

Zac – party bags

Lachlan – sometimes you get lollies

Stephen – a big cake

Clem – you play ‘Hide and Seek’

Sterling – ‘Pass the Parcel’

Bernie – you play that – you unwrap the parcel

Ned – there’s always a present inside

Sage – You sing “Happy Birthday to you”

Cooper – A dino cake

And next week we will be celebrating 3 more….. stay tuned..

It has actually been a jam-packed week!

We have been utilising our water colours and fine line markers to create a spring garden, the marble run has continued to be a magnet of fascination, and speaking of magnets we have been looking carefully at magnets and investigating the magnetic field that surrounds them.  We have begun placing family photos on our celebration tree (please bring one in or email it) and we have been singing up a storm in readiness for the Nativity concert, Friday 21st November.

Have a great weekend,

Melissa and Renee
