Dear Langley families and friends,

Over the past couple of weeks, the children have been very keen to experiment with and mix colours. We set up three jars – 2 with different coloured water.

Ashlynn – blue
Teddy – bit dark
Ashvin – it’s yellow

We thought about mixing the two together and made some predictions about what the new colour might be.

Erin – pink maybe
Sebastian A – brown

Then we eagerly watched as the coloured water was soaked up by paper towel. Eventually they mixed in the middle to create a new colour.

Poppy – it turned green!
Isaac – it’s green now

The children were fascinated by this experience so we did it again with yellow and red water. Next week we will add white flowers to our coloured water jars and we’ll see what happens….

A reminder to please RSVP to Natalie Pettman (Isla’s mum) for the Langley Family Day (natalie@bigpicturerecruitment.com.au) December 7th, 2-5pm, Princess Margaret Playground.

Have a fabulous weekend!
