Angwin

Dear Angwin Parents and Friends,

We have recovered from the Nativity and are now in full Christmas mode! We have been very busy making decorations, Christmas pictures and beautiful angels. We’ve also been lucky enough to bake some ginger bread decorations. The children helped measure, pour and eat this delicious treat!

‘I liked eating my star. It was yummy! The angels and wise men followed the star to Jesus.’ Lily

‘I chose an angel. The angel is part of Christmas because they are in the story of Jesus. They sing so the shepherds can find Jesus.’ Harry P

‘I chose a human (a ginger bread man). It’s not part of Christmas. We could make it into Santa Claus or Jesus when he’s a teenager.’ Patrick

‘Jesus is not a teenager.’ Harry P

‘He’s an adult when it’s Easter.’ Jarrah

‘Yeah, but when it’s Christmas, he’s a teenager.’ Patrick

‘I made a Christmas tree. It’s a decoration. I don’t know why trees are part of Christmas.’ Jarrah

‘Because if we didn’t have trees, we wouldn’t have anywhere to hang decorations.’ Patrick

‘You could hang them on your door.’ Jarrah

We are also preparing for our Graduation next week and hope you can all attend- it will be very special! We also have move up day on Tuesday. We are very excited about moving on to school soon!

Thanks,

Angwin Team
