Angwin

Dear Families,

This week the Angwin Room has been focussed on building our new learning community! The children have showed that they love to work with each other, whether it be solving big puzzles, creating amazing towers, playing games where you need to take turns,  celebrating birthdays or sharing more about ourselves with our fantastic treasure boxes.

We are so excited by the way the children have settled into their new routines and are looking forward to many new and shared learning experiences together this year!

We have been finding out more about the way Chinese New Year is celebrated, finding out about customs and learning that it is the Year of the Dog. The children have heard the story of the Zodiac and we are learning many new words, with Wenting our Chinese teacher. On Friday next week we will share some special Chinese food and watch a play acted out by one of our classes.

If your child hasn’t yet made a treasure box to share, please spend some time together over the weekend, working together to make one so your child can be involved in our treasure box sharing!

Have a cooler weekend!

Kind regards
Pip  and Liana
