Mattingley

Dear Mattingley families and friends,

This week in the Mattingley Room, the children have been singing and dancing to Christmas songs, being creative at the craft table, enjoying the sunshine in our outdoor environments and have continued their interests in threading beads, playdough and painting.

On Thursday, the children decorated biscuits with icing sugar, jelly beans and sprinkles. They all looked delicious and couldn’t wait to eat them for afternoon tea.

We also went up to the Rainbow Playground with the Cooper and Mead Room. The children had fun playing with the water pump, creating new friendships and climbing on the equipment.

Throughout the week, the children have been visiting the Angwin Room, exploring their new classroom for 2018. They were very engaged in new activities and enjoyed being in a new environment.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Enjoy your holidays and we will see you in 2018!
