Langley

Dear Langley family and friends,

The start of this week was very hot so we enjoyed some water play outside. We filled up the water trough with water for the children to experiment with floating and sinking with some boats. Then we wet the sand so the children could make some sand castles, the dry sand was proving difficult so set in the buckets.
On Tuesday, however, when it was too hot to play outside we watched some Christmas movies in the classroom. We watched Mickey’s Christmas, the children enjoyed this quiet time inside.

The teachers have officially finished for the year so we say goodbye to Miss Olly and Miss Kathy, we will see them next year. Next week is also Miss Tayla’s last week in the ELC, we will miss her dearly and hope she visits us soon.

A reminder that next Friday the 22nd is our last day for the year, the centre will re open on the 8th of January.

Enjoy your weekend and stay cool!
