Angwin

Dear Families and Friends,

The Angwin room has continued our investigations into bodies, space and sounds this week! We have enjoyed a teddy bear’s picnic, made a bullet train and even some walkie talkies along with some cooking teddy bear biscuits, holding Squid the lizard and creating magnetic castles.

The children were fascinated by our visit from Trent Hill who shared a special Dreaming story and showed us some of the tools used by the Aboriginal people to hunt and gather food. He showed us the way Aboriginal people make tracks to make stories to show where the animals are. It has been fun to try and make them ourselves in the sandpit.

We have had many friends who have been sick this week, high temperatures and tummy bugs. We do ask that if your child is unwell please give them some time to recover at home.

Spring is just around the corner and we are looking forward to some warmer weather!

Have a lovely weekend.
Kind Regards,

Pip and Kendall
