Wilkins

Dear families and friends,

A very big welcome to our two new friends, Nicholas and Charlie, who have joined us in the Wilkins room this week. The existing children have been very caring, helping them throughout the day and “showing them the ropes”. This is a wonderful opportunity for our older children to be leaders in the classroom and share their understandings.

Our creative juices have been flowing this week, using recycled boxes and collages materials to create masterpieces. If you have any recycled materials and boxes at home, we would love to have them please.

We have also been working together in small groups to create group artworks using cotton buds and our hands! Developing our fine motor control and coordination, we have been using plastic knives and forks with the play dough and scissors with paper.

Enjoy your long weekend, we look forward to seeing you all next week.

Best wishes,

Ellen, Courtenay, Melissa and Jess
