Angwin

Dear Parents and Friends,

We have had a wonderfully creative week in the Angwin room continuing our investigations. We have been on a detective walk looking for signs in our school, finding the PAC symbol everywhere! The children have identified words, letters, numbers and different pictures or symbols.

We have continued our investigations into Autumn leaves and the children have really enjoyed creating their own leaves at the light table. Our interest in recording has also taken us to do observational recording of our different beanstalks reflecting on their growth…

Joshua S - The beanstalk is green. It is growing.
Laila - It has lots of leaves.. .it is tall now
Thomas - The seed is brown. The roots go down.  The shoots go up.
Lachlan B - It is going to be a beanstalk.. it will grow beans
Oliver - My beanstalk is curly and long. It has grown from a seed
Ashton - The bean needed water, sunlight and soil to grow. It is ready to grow and grow out in the veggie patch

Other children have continued incredible collaborative block constructions, spending time with each other to share stories and enjoying creative time at the painting easels.

It is so exciting to see so many friends engaged with each other and furthering their learning in new and interesting ways.

Have a lovely long weekend.
Kind regards,

Pip and Coney
