Wilkins

Dear Wilkins families and friends,

What a wonderful week we have had inside and outside the classroom.

This week we have been exploring different methods of using our fine motor skills.

Miss Courtenay has introduced us to Modeling Clay! We have been busy manipulating the clay. We added eyes, straws and wood cuttings to our master pieces. What a success this was! The Wilkins children enjoyed this experience.

It's a monster! - Eddie N
Dat bacuum!(vacuum) - Liam
It's a rocket ship - George

The Wilkins children have also been very busy at the painting table with some Sensory Paint. They were able to manipulate the paint between their hands and fingers to experience some very interesting sensations! We have experienced this with a few different colours.

We will also be participating in the International Mud Day on Thursday the 29th of June! Please bring your child or children gumboots along with a pair of their old clothes and raincoat to join in on the glorious mud!

We hope you have a great weekend.

Miss Jess, Miss Ellen, Miss Courtenay, Miss Melissa and Miss Chelsea
