Angwin

Dear Parents and Friends,

Our class have been really immersed in following their ongoing inquiries… We have started creating wheat men to watch how the wheat seeds grow and create very hairy people…

The explorations the children are enjoying with our small world animal play is proving a wonderful provocation for them to be thinking about the different habitats of animals. We have done some graphing showing where the animals live, on land, in the water and in dark place. This is only the beginning!

Our Autumn explorations of looking closely at leaves, their veins and myriad of colours has continued.

The children have loved using a mixture of colours to create their own beautiful pieces of art!  A most therapeutic experience!

Finally, we have enjoyed being tour guides and showing the Cooper room our map to find the rainbow birds. They enjoyed following the map with us all the way up to the rainbow bird trees near the front oval. We were even lucky enough to see a Daddy Rainbow bird protecting the hole, sitting on a branch warily watching us all!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Kind Regards,

Pip and Coney
