Wilkins

Dear Wilkins families and friends,

What a wonderful last week of term we have had!

The Wilkins children have been very busy discussing Easter and what some of our different families might do at this special time. Some of our friends go on holidays and some simply enjoy chocolate easter eggs!

This lead to us creating some of our very own special eggs. We used our fine motor skills to paint the egg and then decorate it with some special bits and pieces. To follow on, we took the Wilkins children onto the tennis courts across the road for a 'Egg and Spoon' race! This was a very funny and successful experience!

On Wednesday we noticed something very special had happened to one of our cocoons on our creature table. It had become a beautiful butterfly! After investigating it, we then took our butterfly out to the garden and set it free.

We have also enjoyed music and dance this week. We have been engaging in new songs and musical instruments in the indoor and outdoor environment. There has been lots of musicians in the Wilkins and Langley yard!

Wishing all our families and friends a wonderful and safe Easter.

We look forward to seeing you next week.

Mrs Jess, Miss Ellen, Mrs Melissa, Miss Courtenay and Miss Chelsea
